Janet Liang is an Economist with Georgetown Economic Service. She provides economic consulting on litigation and non-litigation matters involving antitrust, advertising, export controls and sanctions, telecommunication regulations, energy and environment, and commercial damage.
Janet has a PhD in Economics and she has demonstrated skills in a wide range of quantitative methods in analyzing data-driven problems. Janet has extensive hands-on experience in large scale data analysis as well as model development using statistical software.
Prior to joining GES, Janet worked as a research assistant and later as a research associate at the Center of Rural and Agricultural Development in Iowa State University. She worked on many large projects and coordinated with multiple government, academic and industrial collaborators. Janet carried out a variety of challenging economic, statistical and econometric model construction and programming tasks while handling numerous data management duties. Her research has been published in academic journals and presented at national economic conferences.
