AMY GAVEN Special Counsel

Amy Gaven is special counsel in the firm’s New York office as part of the Trademark and Copyright practice group. She focuses her practice on all aspects of intellectual property, including trademark, copyright, trade dress and unfair competition issues. Amy has counseled distinguished clients in various industries including fashion and entertainment, media, luxury goods, health care, pharmaceuticals and consumer products.

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Amy was associated with a boutique intellectual property firm where she worked with clients to develop strategies for the protection of their intellectual property assets worldwide and litigated trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, and copyright cases.

Amy started her career with the litigation department of a major New York firm, where she handled a variety of intellectual property and commercial litigation matters. She has also worked in an in-house capacity in connection with the enforcement and commercial development of intellectual property rights.
