Allison Gottlieb is an associate in the firm’s New York office and a member of the Labor and Employment practice group.

Allison advises businesses on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including general practices, termination and disciplinary decisions, wage and hour issues, and compliance with the NLRA, Title VII, the New York Executive Law, the New York City Human Rights Law, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, the FLSA, the NYC Earned Sick Time Act, and other federal, state, and local laws.

Allison defends management throughout all stages of litigation before federal courts, state courts and administrative agencies against claims of discrimination and retaliation, breach of contract, alter ego/single employer liability, joint employer liability, Equal Pay Act violations, and in wage and hour class and collective actions. She helps clients obtain injunctive relief for employee breaches of employment agreements, including non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements. She also represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and state labor agencies.

Allison assists clients with the development of policies and employee handbooks, and the drafting of non-compete, non-disclosure, and separation agreements. She also conducts workplace investigations, wage and hour audits, and employee trainings.
