AARON HABERMAN Associate
Aaron Haberman focuses his practice on advertising and privacy issues.

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Aaron was a staff attorney at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) within the Bureau of Consumer Protection, where he spent time in the Division of Marketing Practices and in the Southwest Region.

At the FTC, Aaron led a three-year investigation of a multi-level marketing company and its distributors for potential operation of a pyramid scheme, which resulted in multi-level marketing bans for the company, its CEO, and two of its distributors, as well as more than $150 million in monetary relief.  He also conducted investigational hearings, advocated in Bureau Director meetings and in meetings with the FTC’s Commissioners, and served as lead counsel in federal district court litigation against non-settling distributors.  Aaron also worked on successful investigations or cases relating to product substantiation, and online sales practices, and municipal debt collection.

Aaron is only admitted in Texas.  He is practicing under the supervision of principals of the firm who are members of the D.C. bar.
