The article provides general practical guidance for executives that are involved with corporate fundraising for federal candidates. In the article, Frulla discusses some of an executive’s options and through a hypothetical scenario generally identifies "do’s and don’ts" for corporate fundraising. In addition, the article points out corporate compliance programs should be tailored to fit the corporation’s culture and goals, allow for individual political expression, and protect the corporation (and participating executives and employees) from civil or criminal liability.
