EIA Report Projects Fossil and Nuclear Fuels Will Provide 83% of Total Global Energy in 2040

Associate Jordan Rodriguez  authored the Pratt’s Energy Law Report article “EIA report projects fossil and nuclear fuels will provide 83% of total global energy in 2040,” a look at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) report projecting energy consumption by region and energy source.  According to the article, the EIA report calls into question the wisdom of mandated global CO2 emissions programs and increased renewable energy use when fracking technology has produced dramatic benefits by lowering market price-based energy costs while increase more economic use of lower emissions fuels.
