The Yale Law Journal has included partner Bruce Kraus alongside professors Cass Sunstein, Eric Posner and Glen Weyl in its Forum discussion of a recent article by Professor John Coates on the economic analysis of financial regulations. Bruce’s comment, entitled Economists in the Room at the SEC, argues that the agency has reformed its processes more that critics recognize, to improve its rulemaking by making its staff economists integral to the rulemaking process, and that its new, data-driven approach has begun to gain glimmers of judicial approval.
