Partners Talat Ansari and Deepak Nambiar Named to India Business Law Journal’s 2019 International A-List

Talat Ansari and Deepak Nambiar have been named to the India Business Law Journal 2019 International A-list. The list reveals the top 100 India-focused legal experts outside the country.

Talat chairs the firm’s India practice group, and advises on corporate and commercial transactions, infrastructure projects and international litigation and arbitration. His clients include both Indian companies and individuals doing business in the U.S. and American companies and individuals doing business in India. Talat was ranked as one of the top Corporate & Finance: Mid-Market attorneys in the India Overseas Counsel section of Chambers Asia, 2012–2015, and as one of the top Corporate M&A attorneys in the USA and India in Chambers Global, 2012–2017.

As a member of the India practice group, Deepak advises clients on cross-border transactions involving the U.S. and India. According to a client, Deepak has “strong connections and deep understanding of the Indian legal system.” Deepak has a wide range of corporate and general commercial matters, with special emphasis on technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing transactions.
