Kelley Drye & Warren LLP announced today that Steven Yovits has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Steven brings two decades of experience representing clients in high-stakes patent cases in key jurisdictions across the country.

Steven focuses on patent litigation and counseling. He has successfully litigated numerous high stakes patent cases in industries including medical devices, consumer products, media, communications, and technology. Steven counsels clients on intellectual property issues such as the strategic usage of patent portfolios, licensing, trade secrets and threats of litigation. He also has extensive experience with patent damages issues.

Steven has been selected by IAM Patent 1000 for inclusion in “The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners” (2013-present). He was also included in Managing Intellectual Property’s list of “IP Stars” (2015-present). Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Steven was a partner at Mayer Brown.

In addition, Kelley Drye continues to expand its Intellectual Property practice with the addition of associate Sarita Mutha. Sarita has a B.S. in biochemistry, an M.S. in molecular biology, a J.D. from the University of Minnesota, and she recently completed a clerkship in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota.

Steven and Sarita enhance a team of over 100 litigators working throughout the firm’s nine offices.
