Kelley Drye Joins The ABA Pledge for Change

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP signed the American Bar Association’s Commission on Disability Rights (CDR) Pledge for Change. In signing the pledge, the firm shows its strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, including the recruitment, hiring, retention, and advancement of lawyers with disabilities.

The Pledge was created in response to the lack of lawyers with disabilities in the profession, and was the centerpiece of the Second ABA National Conference on the Employment of Lawyers with disabilities held in June 2009.

With more than 400,000 members, the American Bar Association is one of the largest voluntary professional membership organizations in the world. As the national voice of the legal profession, the ABA works to improve the administration of justice, promotes programs that assist lawyers and judges in their work, accredits law schools, provides continuing legal education, and works to build public understanding around the world of the importance of the rule of law.
