Kelley Drye has announced the addition of a multi-office patent team to its Intellectual Property and Technology Group. With the Firm’s new multi-office patent capabilities, especially in the areas of patent prosecution, patent opinions, patent litigation and patent licensing, Kelley Drye can now serve our clients in every aspect of intellectual property practice.

Specific services include the preparation of patentability, non-infringement, validity and right-to-use opinions; the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, both in the United States and abroad; Patent Office interference proceedings; reissue and reexamination proceedings; patent infringement litigation; counseling on patent acquisition, transfer and licensing; and advice related to issues such as patent misuse and antitrust considerations.

The group’s attorneys have experience in large patent litigations, with cases in a range of disciplines such as polymer chemistry, telecommunications, electromechanics, MRI technology, internet software and medical devices.
