Kelley Drye & Warren LLP announced today that Paul McCurdy has been elected Chair of the Firm, succeeding John M. Callagy, who has served in that role since 1992. Mr. Callagy was the Firm's first Chair.

Mr. McCurdy joined Kelley Drye in 1987 and was elected to the Executive Committee in 2006. He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. In addition to his new role, he will remain chair of the Firm's Broker-Dealer practice group, representing retail, clearing, direct access and advisory firms in regulatory, enforcement, compliance, corporate and litigation matters.
"Kelley Drye has a tradition of providing the highest level of service to its clients consistent with their business objectives," said Mr. Callagy. "Under Paul's leadership, we will continue to serve our clients well in the new landscape of the legal profession." Mr. Callagy will continue his practice at the Firm as a litigation partner representing financial services clients and other Fortune 100 companies, in complex litigation. He will remain a member of the Executive Committee.
James J. Kirk, a partner in Kelley Drye's Real Estate Practice group, will continue as the Firm's Managing Partner, a role he has held since 2004.
