Kelley Drye Selected as Counsel for Claim Jumper Acquisition Company Bankruptcy

Kelley Drye has been selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Claim Jumper Acquisition Company LLC.

Claim Jumpers Acquisition Company, LLC and seven affiliated debtors filed for Chapter 11 protection with the Western District of Pennsylvania on October 3, 2022. The filing prompted suitors to bid for the chain, including Landry’s Restaurants. At the time of the bankruptcy filing, Claim Jumper operated 45 restaurants in eight states. A bulk of those units are in California. Landry’s owns Rainforest Cafe, Landry’s Seafood House, The Crab House and The Chart House. It also recently acquired San Clemente-based Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
