The American Lawyer Mentions Managing Partner, Lew Rose, and IP Partners, John F. Ward and Michael Zinna, in Article about IP Boutique and BigLaw Mergers

Managing partner Lew Rose and partner John F. Ward were quoted in The American Lawyer article “Big Firms Net IP Boutiques as Merger Spate Continues.” The article discusses the current trend of big law firms merging with IP boutiques, including Kelley Drye’s hiring of Mr. Ward and Michael J. Zinna, the founding principles of former IP boutique Ward & Zinna LLC. The mergers are mutually beneficial for several reasons. Mr. Ward said, “When I started in the eighties, firms like Kelley Drye would have sent us their patent work. It came to the point where, if you can't fight them, join them." Mr. Rose discussed the significance of Mr. Ward and Mr. Zinna’s experience with PTAB cases, saying, “They're resource-intensive and incredibly important to our clients. That's an important factor. You want to have cases that clients are committed to."
