Patently O Reports Kelley Drye to Take USPTO Depositions

The Patently O blog, which provides information on patent news, announced that Kelley Drye & Warren attorneys will take the depositions of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Director Jon Dudas and Deputy Director John Doll in December 2007. Kelley Drye attorneys have served Mr. Dudas and Mr. Doll with deposition notices in regards to the USPTO’s new rules concerning the application for and continuation of patents. Partner William Golden is representing independent inventor Dr. Triantafyllos Tafas in an action against the USPTO seeking to invalidate and permanently enjoin the new rules. The case is filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
