The New York Times DealBook mentions Partner James Carr in an article titled "Restructuring Shop to Acquire CompUSA."
The article discusses the restructuring firm, Gordon Brothers LLC's acquisition of CompUSA as CompUSA could no longer compete with stores like Best Buy Co. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Gordon Brothers has already begun sales talks over several stores, as well as for the company's technical services and Internet sales business. Although CompUSA is winding its operations it will remain open through the holiday season.
Mr. Carr is representing CompUSA's landlords in the deal.
