Jaimie Nawaday on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle to Discuss Possibility of Bail for Jeffrey Epstein
July 12, 2019
Partner Jaimie Nawaday appeared on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle on July 12th to discuss the $77 million bail package proposed by Jeffrey Epstein’s attorneys to get him out of jail. Epstein was indicted on charges related to sex trafficking involving underage girls in the Southern District of New York (SDNY). Jaimie, a former federal prosecutor for the SDNY, gave insight into the question of whether or not the court will accept this proposal.
“I would be very surprised if he’s granted bail, especially because one of the arguments the defense counsel is making is the precise argument that this particular judge, Judge Berman, has rejected in the past,” Jaimie said of the possibility of Epstein being granted bail.

Jaimie goes on to discuss just how much of a flight risk Epstein really is due to “the amount of resources, [and] the international connections he has.”
