Partner Jaimie Nawaday Appears on MSNBC to Discuss Staff Shortages and Budget Cuts at the Bureau of Prisons Following Jeffrey Epstein’s Death

Partner Jaimie Nawaday appeared on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber to discuss staff shortages and budget cuts at the Federal Bureau of Prisons following the death of accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, a former inmate of the Metropolitan Correction Center (MCC), was found dead on August 10. The Department of Justice has since disclosed "serious irregularities" at the federal jail.

"Prison staff is never the area you should be cutting cost in. When you cut costs for prison staff, you're creating a dangerous situation all around," said Jaimie. “You’re putting inmates at risk, risk of harming themselves, as what happened here.”
