Partner Dana Rosenfeld Quoted in The American Lawyer Article on Move to Managing Partner

Partner Dana Rosenfeld was quoted in The American Lawyer article Meet the New Boss: The Changing Faces of Big Law Leadership in 2020.” Dana is the first woman to serve as managing partner at Kelley Drye, and will be guiding the firm through are the relocation of the New York City office, the firm’s largest, from 101 Park Avenue in midtown to 3 World Trade downtown.

Dana’s priorities as managing partner include the introduction of new and innovative ideas in areas like client service and communications. The article also discusses her focus on how Kelley Drye will grow. While there are no plans for a big merger and the firm is primarily focused on promoting attorneys through the ranks to equity partnership, she says Kelley Drye is open to hiring partners from outside who complement and fit in, in terms of skill set and culture.

We’re a very entrepreneurial firm,” said Dana, We are a mostly equity partner firm. So it is important to us to give our associates [experience] and help them learn the skills that they’ll need to become successful partners in the long run.”
