National Law Journal quoted partner Christie Grymes Thompson in an article titled “Agenda Unknown.” The article discussed the ambiguity that surrounds the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which is slated to open on July 21, 2011. Key legal positions, however, have recently been filled. Ms. Thompson projected the agenda of the new head of the enforcement division, former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray. “I certainly see targeting big banks as one of his priorities," Ms. Thompson said.
