Nutritional Outlook Reports on Health Claim Substantiation Guide Written by Kelley Drye Attorneys

In the article, “‘Can We Say That?’ Guide to Substantiating Supplement Claims,” Nutritional Outlook reported on a newly published Food and Drug Law Institute monograph, co-edited by Kelley Drye partner Sarah Roller. The monograph is designed to assist lawyers, regulatory advisors and marketing professionals answer the question Can we say that?” as they design and execute programs to promote foods and other consumer health products. It serves as a practical guide to substantiating the advertising and labeling claims so fundamental to product development.

Ms. Roller and Melanie Fairchild-Dzanis of Regulatory Discretion, Inc. (formerly of Nestlé USA) were co-editors, and thirteen other attorneys from Kelley Drye’s Food & Drug Law and Advertising & Marketing practices, as well as David A. Dzanis of Regulatory Discretion, Inc., contributed to the monograph as authors.
