New York Law Journal Notes Partner Sarah L. Reid as Burton Awards Recipient

The New York Law Journal stated that tonight “... The Burton Foundation, a nonprofit academic organization, will present its 2009 Awards for Legal Achievement in recognition of effective legal writing.” The article reported that the Lifetime Reform in Law Award will be given to former New York Chief Judge Judith Kaye and that the Book of the Year in Law Award will be presented to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. The New York Law Journal listed the 11 law firms and the lawyers honored with this year’s Burton Awards, as well as the three authors selected from law schools. It noted that Sarah L. Reid of Kelley Drye & Warren was selected for her article Automatic Assignability of Claims: The Tension Between Federal and New York State Law.”
