New York County Lawyer Notes Partner Robert L. Haig Co-chairs Annual Dinner Celebrating Diversity

The New York County Lawyers’ Association’s (NYCLA) 96th Annual Dinner celebrating diversity in the legal profession will be held on December 14 at the Waldorf Astoria’s Grand Ballroom. The New York County Lawyer newspaper announced the upcoming event where the NYCLA Diversity Award will be presented to Roderick A. Palmore, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of General Mills, Inc. NYCLA’s William Nelson Cromwell Award will be presented to George W. Madison, General Counsel, U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The Dinner will recognize the approximately 150 law firms and corporations who signed on to NYCLA’s Diversity Statement that supports efforts to increase diversity in the legal profession.

The article noted that Michele Coleman Mayes, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Allstate Insurance Company, and former NYCLA President and Kelley Drye partner, Robert L. Haig are co-chairs of the Dinner.
