Partner Jeff Jacobson’s arrival at Kelley Drye was featured in the Law360 article “Kelley Drye Nabs Class Action Pro Leaving NJ AG's Office.” Former chief counsel to the New Jersey attorney general, Mr. Jacobson has joined the firm’s New York and Parsippany offices, where he will focus on consumer fraud, privacy and securities class action litigation. Mr. Jacobson told Law360 that while he loved working for the state, he knew that he would return to private practice saying, “I wanted my clients to miss me but not forget me.” In resuming work as a partner in a law firm, Mr. Jacobson called Kelley Drye a “spectacular fit” for his class action-focused practice, with billing rates that are “going to be attractive to clients in this space.”
Law360 also reported on the addition of Mr. Jacobson to Kelley Drye in the article “Revolving Door Roundup.”
