The Law360 article, "Kelley Drye Grabs SEC Veteran for NY Corporate Practice" reported Bruce R. Kraus has joined the New York office as a partner in the corporate group. The feature noted Mr. Kraus previously worked in the SEC's Division of Risk, Strategy and Financial Innovation and served as a lawyer to the economists. He joined the SEC in 2009 during the financial crisis and performed economic analysis on proposed rulemakings for RiskFin, including regulations implementing the Dodd-Frank Act, which was passed in 2012. The article also noted that prior to joining the SEC, Mr. Kraus was a partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
