Law360 Notes Kelley Drye’s Representation of Plaintiff in U.S. Patent Case

In an article titled ​“Coalition Backs USPTO Appeal in Rules Battle,” Law360 noted Kelley Drye’s representation of plaintiff Dr. Triantafyllos Tafas in a case regarding a friend-of-the-court brief with the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in support of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s new rules.

The final rules were recently struck down in a U.S. District Court of Virginia. The court determined the rules to be ​“substantive, not procedural,” thus handing a victory to plaintiff and Kelley Drye client, Dr. Tafas.
