Weighing in on the FCC’s proposal to require permission from companies before providers enable text messaging features, ZipWhip implores the FCC to back off its proposal. The Seattle-based firm asserts that it currently already obtains permission before enabling text messaging; it also states that because of a lack of rules, “innovation has flourished.”
