Ch. 11 Sale Plan Draws Creditor Fire.” The unsecured creditors of bankrupt cosmetics retailer Beauty Brands LLC called for rejection of the retailer’s Delaware Chapter 11 sale plan, arguing for an open auction in lieu of a stalking horse sale led by a liquidation company. The Office of the U.S. Trustee had objections to the plan as well.

Beauty Brands operates 58 specialty beauty stores in 12 states that sell products and provide spa and salon services. The company filed for Chapter 11 protection in early January citing declining sales and rising costs associated with doing business as a primarily brick-and-mortar retailer.

The committee is represented by Eric and Jason.
