Smith, and associate Joshua Morey were listed in the Law360 article ITC Paves Way For Tariffs On Chinese, Japanese Steel.” In a recent unanimous decision, the International Trade Commission (ITC) said that Chinese and Japanese cold-rolled steel products was hampering U.S. producers, which will allow the U.S. Department of Commerce to move ahead with the anti-dumping and countervailing duties it unveiled earlier this year. The duties on cold-rolled steel from China and Japan are part of a larger probe that has targeted imports from Brazil, India, Russia, South Korea and the United Kingdom. A coalition of U.S. steel producers, including ArcelorMittal USA LLC, AK Steel Corp., U.S. Steel Corp. and Nucor Corp., launched the case last summer. ArcelorMittal is represented by Mr. Luberda, Mr. Herrmann, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Morey.
