Partner R. Alan Luberda and special counsel David C. Smith were mentioned in the Law360 article ​“Korean Transformers Being Dumped In US, Commerce Says.” The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued a preliminary determination that two Korean producers of large power transformers have been dumping their wares in the U.S. Hyosung Corp. and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. were both found to be selling their exported transformers at less than normal value from August 2013 through July 2014. Commerce calculated their dumping margins to be 11.01 percent and 3.96 percent, respectively. The determination comes after a review requested by New Jersey-based transformer producer ABB Inc. ABB Inc. is represented by R. Alan Luberda and David C. Smith.
