Dispute Italian, Asian Steel Dumping Duties.” JSW Steel Ltd., Nucor Corp. and U.S. Steel Corp. recently filed complaints with the Court of International Trade over an order from the U.S. Department of Commerce that imposed anti-dumping duties on corrosion-resistant steel products from Italy, China, South Korea and Taiwan. The three complaints, each filed as a civil action to contest Commerce’s determination of countervailing duties, came from JSW Steel, Nucor and U.S. Steel as a result of their participation in the dumping investigations and orders that they are now challenging. U.S. Steel, Nucor, AK Steel Corp., ArcelorMittal USA LLC, Steel Dynamics Inc. and California Steel Industries filed briefs in May asking the agency to find that imports of corrosion-resistant steel products from the five countries have been dumped and subsidized, and have caused material injury and threaten further injury to the domestic industry. ArcelorMittal USA LLC is represented by Mr. Rosenthal, Ms. Cannon, Mr. Luberda, Mr. Herrmann, Ms. Ringel, Ms. Brewer, and Mr. Morey.
