The article details the initiation of a U.S. Commerce Department investigation in response to trade petitions filed by Kelley Drye on March 9th at both the Commerce Department and the U.S. International Trade Commission on behalf of members of the U.S. Aluminum Association.  The petitions allege that imports of common alloy aluminum sheet from Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Oman, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey are being sold at less than fair value in the United States and that aluminum sheet producers from Bahrain, Brazil, India and Turkey are being unfairly subsidized by their respective governments.
