The International Association of Privacy Professionals’ (IAPP) Daily Dashboard newsletter referenced a Kelley Drye Ad Law Access blog entry titled ​“Mississippi Enacts Data Breach Notification Law,” authored by associate Alysa Z. The Ad Law Access blog entry discussed the new data breach notification law that requires any person who conducts business in the State of Mississippi, and who, in the ordinary course of the person’s business functions, owns, licenses, or maintains personal information of any resident of Mississippi, to provide notice in the event of a data security breach.
