Fordham Magazine Notes Partner Neil Merkl’s Selection as Legal Aid Society Board of Directors Member

In its Alumni Notes” section, Fordham Magazine reported that partner Neil Merkl was chosen by The Legal Aid Society of New York to serve a three year term on its board of directors. The magazine also noted that Mr. Merkl is the vice president of the Guild of Catholic Lawyers.

Founded in 1876, the Legal Aid Society is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing free, quality legal representation to low-income New Yorkers. The organization handles approximately 275,000 cases and matters each year in civil, criminal and juvenile rights practices.
