The AmLaw Daily article, Five Firms Advise on Crown Castle’s $1B NextG Networks Buy,” reported that Crown Castle, a leading operator of cell phone towers has agreed to acquire NextG Networks from a group of investors led by Madison Dearborn Partners. The article noted the NextG deal would make Crown Castle the largest independent provider of distributed antenna systems in the United States. It listed Kirkland & Ellis and Kelley Drye (partner Hank Kelly as providing representation for NextG; and Cravath Swain & Moore, Bingham McCutchen and Salter Joyce Ziker as representing Crown Castle.
