Associate Jameson Dempsey was quoted in the ABA Journal article “Hackathon' Movement May Jump-Start a Legal Career.” The article covers the legal hackathon movement, organized by Brooklyn Law School professor, Johnathan Askin. The idea is to create an app, service, policy proposal or other work product that can address a real-world problem. Jameson, a former student of Askin’s, commented on the hackathon, “I knew this environment was ripe for this kind of meeting,” he said. “Where else in the world do you have this many lawyers in one city working on the biggest issues in technology and law?”
