Statement from Kelley Drye on the Recent Violence Against Asian and Pacific Islander Americans

The increase in violence and hate crimes against Asian and Pacific Islander Americans and the tragic killings that occurred in Atlanta last week are heartbreaking, and target a community that has been made increasingly fearful over the past year by baseless association with the COVID-19 pandemic. Kelley Drye & Warren strongly condemns the recent violent attacks on members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Atlanta, New York, San Francisco, and other cities in the United States. Such violence, and the racist ideologies that underlie it, is reprehensible. We hope that our Asian American and Pacific Islander friends and colleagues, both within and outside of the Kelley Drye community, remain safe and we stand with Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in calling for an end to these violent attacks.
