The American College of Business Court Judges Selects Partner Robert L. Haig as Honorary Member

Partner Robert L. Haig became an Honorary Charter Member of the American College of Business Court Judges (ACBCJ), an organization that facilitates the education of and communication between business and commercial court judges across the United States. The induction ceremony, at which Mr. Haig became a member, took place at the ACBCJ’s fourth annual meeting in Chicago on November 16. Mr. Haig is Co-Chair of the Commercial Courts Task Force appointed by New York’s Chief Judge to create and refine the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York (the nation’s first general trial court devoted exclusively to business litigation). Mr. Haig has also been active in efforts to create business courts in many other states and foreign countries. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the two definitive treatises on business and commercial litigation (the eight volume Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts and the five volume Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts).
