The Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS) honored Kelley Drye among the law firms that fulfilled the “VOLS Pro Bono Pledge” at an award ceremony that was held in New York on October 6, 2009. Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman presented the awards to the 43 firms that collectively preformed over a million hours of free legal services to participants of the VOLS program. Partner Bob Crotty and associate Melissa Byroade attended the event.

VOLS is dedicated to providing pro bono civil legal services to benefit those in need in New York City in the areas of family law, insurance benefits and business law matters.
