For the second year, Kelley Drye’s Communications Practice Group has joined as a partner in the Federal Communications Bar Association’s (FCBA) Diversity Pipeline Program.  This is the second year for the program which is designed to attract, develop, and support diverse law students who are interested in pursuing legal careers in technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) law and policy.  It includes an internship program with a legal skills development component that facilitates access to paid summer 2022 legal internship opportunities for first year law students from historically underrepresented and disadvantaged groups and includes a legal skills development component. Last year, Kelley Drye was one of the initial group of 19 law firms and industry organizations that committed to providing internship opportunities for diverse law students.

Kelley Drye has a long history of participation in programs to increase diversity within the profession and promote opportunities within law firms for lawyers from historically underrepresented groups.  The FCBA’s Diversity Pipeline Program will provide first-year law students with the essential internship, mentoring and academic enrichment experience they need to succeed, and it mirrors our Firm’s core values of diversity and inclusion.
