Partner Steven A. Augustino moderated a panel on March 24 in Miami addressing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and the latest regulatory developments. Panelists included CEOs of two major VoIP providers, who discussed the types of IP-enabled services available today. In addition, representatives from the FCC and the competitive industry discussed setting a national policy regarding VoIP regulation and the debate over the impact of VoIP on access charges, law enforcement and 911 services. The panel is a part of TelCap’s annual U.S. conference covering the metro connectivity and local access markets.
