Lynch spoke at a CLE program entitled "The Impact of Social Media on Commercial Litigation", sponsored by Magna Legal Services on Wednesday, April 6th, at the W New York Downtown Hotel. Mr. Lynch and Seth Krauss. Esq., Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., led the panelists in a discussion concerning the profound impact social media networks like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter have had on commercial litigation and the management of risk by in-house counsel. The discussion focused on recent cases where the use of social media by litigants, witnesses and jurors has dramatically altered the course of litigation, through discovery, evidentiary rulings, jury selection and deliberations. The program was designed to provide in-house counsel with practical advice on how to deal with this increasingly important issue.
Other panelists included:

- Marjorie F. Chertok, Esq., Assistant General Counsel of Tyco Fire Protection
- Jay Sabin, Esq., General Counsel of Grocery Haulers, Inc. & Affiliated Companies
The social media program was preceded by a panel discussion on "Alternative Fee Arrangements and The Shared Risk Model" featuring additional in-house counsel.
