The Association of Women in International Trade

October 4, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (EDT)

Partner Michael J. Coursey presented Stopping Evasion is Great, But What Does That Mean?” for The Association of Women in International Trade. The Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 contained provisions to establish a new office in CBP to investigate claims of evasion of anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders.  On August 29, 2016, CBP published regulations to address those provisions. This discussion covered just what those new regulations mean and how parties anticipate them working in practice.
