Partner Sarah Roller spoke at the American Association of Cereal Chemists (AACC) “Formulating to Attain Health and Wellness Initiatives” course on March 18, 2010. The course will focus on the key areas of formulation for the health platform. With a discussion of functional ingredients available in health and wellness, this event is geared towards scientists, application specialists, and technical managers who are, or expect to become, involved in baked goods with added health benefits, including product development, quality assurance, and process supervision.

Ms. Roller spoke in a session titled “Regulations Update: The Health and Wellness Market.” In this session, Ms. Roller will discuss potential changes in regulations, USDA dietary guidelines for 2010 and labeling.
