A new presidential administration will bring significant change to a workplace that is already highly regulated, including renewed activity at the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board and the courts. This session will predict and analyze a broad range of changes that include employment and labor law (particularly discrimination law), labor-management relations/organized labor, wage and hour laws, and government enforcement initiatives. Key issues that include LGBTQ rights in the workplace and use of criminal and credit history in employment decisions will also be discussed.
