The program will provide an overview of the maze of federal and state laws that govern sales promotions including: price discounts, free offers, sweepstakes, contests cause, and marketing campaigns. “Promotions & Advertising” will also provide an overview of the basics of advertising law that dictate the legal limits on the claims you can make in ads and marketing materials, as well as what type of proof you need to support those claims.
