On February 18, 2014 associate Kristi L. Wolff led a FX Conference entitled "Piggyback Class Action – Reducing the Risk of Litigation Following Regulatory Enforcement." The program discussed how ads claiming that food or consumer health products are "natural" or "fresh" can easily be made the subject of regulatory scrutiny or a consumer class action. Ms. Wolff discussed recent trends in food and health product advertising litigation, provided updates on recent cases, and made suggestions for reducing risk in advertising campaigns.
