Partner Barbara Hoey to Speak at AAHSA Annual Meeting and Exposition

Partner Barbara Hoey will be a guest speaker at AAHSA’s (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) 2007 Annual Meeting and Exposition. Ms. Hoey will present ​“Handling Whistleblower and Retaliation Complaints.” She will discuss the rise in the number of whistleblower suits and their shift in focus from the defense industry to the healthcare industry. Ms. Hoey’s presentation will provide insight into defending against whistleblower claims and employment-related retaliation suits under the Federal Claims Act and other federal statutes. The conference will take place on October 21 through 24 in Orlando, Florida
