On October 29, 2014 partner Merrill B. Stone spoke at the Annual Conference of the Securities Transfer Association at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, FL. Mr. Stone participated in a panel on Legal Issues discussing transfers of restricted securities and securities held by an affiliate under SEC Rule 144 and developments on crowdfunding and other issues under the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act of 2012 (a/k/a the “JOBS Act”).
