Kelley Drye Welcomes MetLife

On April 5, 2016, Kelley Drye’s Diversity Speaker Series featured Ricardo Anzaldua, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of MetLife, Inc. Mr. Anzaldua, who leads the company’s global legal operations and oversees MetLife’s corporate secretary’s office and corporate ethics and compliance group, spoke ardently about diversity and inclusion at MetLife, what it means to the corporation, what it means to him personally and professionally, and what it means to the practice and profession of law. In his talk, Mr. Anzaldua identified two key areas – unconscious bias and sponsorship opportunities – as fundamental to moving diversity and inclusion programs forward. The presentation, which was video conferenced across all Kelley Drye’s domestic offices, was dynamic and very well received. Mr. Anzaldua was hosted to lunch following the presentation Kelley Drye’s Managing Partner.
